The children continue with their preparations in Advent. Last week we found out about the significance of the Advent wreath and the Advent calender to help us understand that Advent is a time of waiting. All the children have started writing their Christmas books with the story of the Annunciation. We have thought especially about how Mary would have felt while waiting for Jesus, God’s Son, to be born. This week we will find out how Mary helped Elizabeth while she was waiting for the birth of her baby.
