I would like the children in our class to take some responsibility and ownership of the prayers we say throughout the day. We are going to make our own prayer book and keep it on our display. Please support your child at home if they would like to write a prayer to go in our book. The prayer can be short and simple, or a longer one. I would like the year ones to have a go at writing the prayer themselves, however reception parents can write their prayer for them, as long as their ideas are used. All prayers need to be named and presentable for our book. They can be written on a plain piece of paper, or in a writing frame. Please see me if you would like me to provide anything. Your child can do more than one if they wish. This is something I hope to continue with throughout the year, if the children respond well.
