We have registered for the Big Walk and Wheel which takes place from Monday 11th to 22nd March.
The initiative inspires pupils to make active journeys to school, improve air quality in their neighbour-
hood and discover how these changes benefit their world.
We would like children to make as many active journeys to school as they can over the two weeks. On
each day of the challenge, schools compete to see who can get the highest percentage of their pupils
walking, using a wheelchair, scooting or cycling to school. All active journeys will be logged each day.
Schools will be entered into a daily prize draw for rewards including equipment and accessories if over
15% of pupils walk, use a wheelchair, scoot or cycle on that day of the challenge.
Please support this initiative if you can. It was fantastic to see so many children travelling to school in
an active way last week for breakfast and Dr Bike day.
