Catholic Social Teaching is our moral compass, guiding us on how to live out our faith in the world. Our faith calls us to love God and to love our neighbours in every situation, especially our sisters and brothers living in poverty. Following in the footsteps of Christ, we hope to make present in our unjust and broken world, the justice, love and peace of God.

We support charities such as CAFOD, St Luke’s Hospice, Children in Need, The St Wilfrid’s Centre, The Bethlehem Care and Hospice Fund, Sharrow food bank,

During the Harvest Season, our families very generously sent in food, which was donated, to the St Wilfrid’s Centre for homeless and vulnerable adults.

At the start of Advent, we had a ‘Festival of Cribs’ in support of the Bethlehem Care and Hospice Fund.

Last year, during Lent, the children took part in the Big Lent Walk, raising money for CAFOD.

The children come up with their own ideas as a class to fund raise money for our diocesan Good Shepherd fund.
