R.E. Lent and Easter

This week the children will be learning that Lent is an opportunity to change and make a new start. The children will relate their experiences of growing and learning since they started school to how we can grow and change in our hearts during Lent. It is a time when the family of Jesus try to change and be more like Jesus.  We will be making Lenten Promise cards where we will think about how we can think more about Jesus and of others. We will also be finding out about the story of Palm Sunday and doing  drama and role play so the children will be prepared for mass on Sunday.
