Dear Parents
I have booked a trip to the Tropical Butterfly House, Anston, to support learning in our science topic of Habitats. The trip includes two sessions led by the staff at the Butterfly House. One is entitled ‘Tropical Habitats and Adaptations’ and it includes exploration of the butterfly jungle. The other session is ‘Native Habitats and Conservation’ and includes a venture down the nature trail. More information about the trip can be found at http://www.butterflyhouse.co.uk/
The trip has been booked for Tuesday 7th May. We will leave school at 9.15 and we expect to be back at school before the end of the school day. The cost of the trip is £15.00 please send to school in a sealed, named envelope.
Your child will need a packed lunch and plenty of drinks (no fizzy pop or glass bottles please). Your child should wear school uniform as usual. Please ensure that your child has a waterproof coat and suitable shoes as we will be working outside for part of the day.
