As the year one parents are aware I have sent home a homework folder. This is purely for children to bring their work from home to school. I am not setting a specific day for the homework to be done, as long as it is done at some point during the week. It is more about the process they are going through and to reinforce their learning. I would like it to be a task they enjoy and not one they see as a chore. Hope this make things a little clearer.
