Saturday 22nd February is the date for the annual Catholic Cup Cross Country Event . This year the event will be held at Bolehills recreation ground Crookes. We require teams of 4 but individuals can run as well.
Race times are as follows;
Y3 girls and boys 10.00 am
Y4 girls 10. 10
Y4 boys 10.20 am
Y 5/6 girls 10.30 am(longer course)
Y 5/6 boys 10. 40 am (longer course)
The Y3 race always starts on time and the rest follow when the field is cleared of runners. So advertised times are approximate and races tend to start earlier . It is better to arrive 20mins before your race .That gives runners time to find the start and perhaps walk the course before the race.
Medals will be awarded to the first three children in each race. This is a fantastic opportunity for our children to take part in a fun event , whether they are experienced cross country runners or just fancy a go for the first time. Anyone wishing to come along and support the children is more than welcome.
