For those parents who were unable to attend our curriculum evening, we have put a selection of hand outs and a purple mash log in card for your child (please check the name) on top of the storage unit, to the left as you walk in the classroom. Please feel free to help yourself, as there is some very useful information.
We also talked about homework in the form of a learning log. Your child will be bringing home a book in which to record suggested homework tasks. Homework is not compulsory for the Reception children, however the tasks are there if your child wishes to enhance their learning at home. The tasks are not meant to be onerous, but fun and enjoyable. We will recognise the work completed and allow the children opportunities to share this within class. If you are unsure about how it works, please do come and see us.
