Hallamshire Tennis Club Tuesday 3rd May
8 of our Y3/4 children took part in a fun tennis event involving schools from across the city.
This was the first time many of the children had represented the school in a sporting event.
All the children played 2 games of singles in mini tennis up to 10 points.
It was delightful to see them enjoying themselves so much in what was a fun event.
There were some talented individuals from all the schools and although we didn’t progress to the final the children said how much they had enjoyed the experience.
It was a pleasure for myself and Mrs Pearson to take such well behaved and well mannered children to the event . They definitely represented St Wilfrids in a positive light.
