On Friday the children wrote the second part of their Christmas Story book, which they will be bringing home to share with you for Christmas. They all produced excellent work which they are very proud of.
In the coming week we will continue to prepare whist waiting for Christmas. The children will open the Advent calender and think about the special messages they have written of how they can show their love and care for each other as we move closer to Jesus’ birthday. Each day as we light the candles on the Advent wreath, we will remember the significance of the Advent wreath and it’s symbolism – your child should be able to explain what the wreath and the candles signify.
Next Friday we will be finding out about the story of the Christingle and how it helps us to understand God’s love and why He sent Jesus to be the light of our world.
