Hollowford was great! The activities, the food, the staff, practically everything. It was awesome, but if I were to choose the best part it would either have to be the bouldering or the high ropes. The bouldering was extremely fun, squeezing through tiny holes and running over rocks. It was was wonderful to see the teamwork used during bouldering; people pulling each other out of the holes and pushing them down when they got stuck!
At the high ropes we had a wonderful, exciting time. Getting into your harness, climbing and getting to the top despite wanting to stop! We all pushed ourselves to the absolute limits and conquered our fear of heights. But that wasn’t as scary as the dreaded leap faith.Going up that ladder and clinging on for dear life was unbelievably scary but I took a leap of faith and managed the jump.
I can’t wait till the next residential !!!
