National Science Week

National Science Week

Friday 14th to Sunday 23rd March is National Science Week. Our theme is ‘The Great Plant Hunt’ and we will be following in Darwin’s footsteps to find out more about the natural world. This will include children being allocated a plot of land to garden [down the side of the car park]. They will draw plans for their piece of land and may, weather permitting, start digging the soil over and preparing the ground. Planting will happen later in the year when the weather is warmer. Parents are welcome to contact their child’s class teacher if they would like to be involved in any way.
