WE NEED YOU!
Our fundraising effort as a class is two-fold.
The first part is a raffle. We are asking everyone if they could donate a bar of chocolate (or something similar, small bars are fine) to put together in a hamper which we will raffle in December. This is usually a great success and who doesn’t want to win 30 bars of chocolate!
The second part is your children taking part in our Great Year One Bake Off! We will be spending a whole day baking various treats to then sell to the children in school and also after school. We will possibly be baking off on Monday 26th Nov in the afternoon but most certainly all day Tuesday (27th). We will be selling our wares on Weds afternoon and from 2.45pm in the yard. If you are able to help with a group we would be very grateful! Even if it’s just an hour at some point, all help is welcome.
Also to keep costs down we are asking if any one has any unused flour or icing sugar/castor sugar, possibly butter and eggs etc for us to use as ingredients? As long as it’s in date and we can use it in our recipes. You don’t need to go out and buy it, just check your cupboards.
Please let us know if you can help with any of the above. We will be collecting donations of chocolate and ingredients all next week (from 19th Nov) so we can see what we need to buy. We can also sort out groups and jobs if you are able to help!
