I’m pleased to announce that our Sportshall athletics team were winners in the schools partnership final held last week at All Saints school.
There were many impressive performances throughout particularly in the running events. At the end of the competition the officials commented how talented and determined our children were.
For some reason this years team are quite small in stature compared to their opponents , often up against much taller children.
However they more than made up for it , showing great tenacity and will power .
This is the 6th consecutive year that St Wilfrid’s has been successful at this stage of the competition, a fantastic achievement considering the number of schools entering the event.
They will now compete against the top 7 schools across Sheffield for a place in the Regional finals
This event will take place on Tuesday 10th January 1pm to 3pm at the English Institute of Sport
