Dear parents,
firstly, a big thank you to all of you who contributed and helped at the cake stall last Friday. We raised an amazing £130 for Macmillan cancer support and school resources.
I have set two pieces of homework this week. The first is for the children to create a poster on what they know about fractions. The second is for them to discuss with you the story of ‘The Whales’ song’ and then describe their ideas for their own story. It would be good if could discuss with your child/ren what powerful adjectives and similes they might use.
As part of their homework I also expect the children to be reading every night. If you are struggling to access books please do let me know and we can arrange for your child/ren to borrow some from the library.
