There will be a Fairtrade tuck shop in school this Thursday (28th) and Friday (1st March) during lunch time and after school. Your children can buy chocolate and sweets for around 80p. During the next two weeks your child will be given the opportunity to try some fairtrade products. If you do not wish your child to eat any of these, then please let me know as soon as possible.
As part of our Geography topic I am taking the children on a small walk around our local area to look at the facilities and shops. We will be thinking about how these places bring jobs, which in turn help develop the community and make it a better place to live. This will take place next Wednesday (6th March) from 1pm until around 2.15pm. I need a couple of helpers to support on the walk. If you can make it please let me know. Any help will be appreciated. If any parents have jobs (Shop keeper, doctor, police officer, fire officer, park keeper, nurse, etc) in the local community and would like to come into school to talk to the children please do come and see me.
