Well done to the girls and boys who competed in the Annual Westbourne Cricket and Rounders event at Abbeydale cricket ground on Thursday 30th June.
The y5 cricket team, under the expert guidance of umpire and cricketer Mr Crabtree, played fantastically well throughout the afternoon and managed to win the Westbourne y5 Plate.
The y4/5 rounders team ( with a couple of y3’s amazingly won 3 drew 1 and only lost 1 of their 5 matches and came second overall.
This was a lovely fun event and all the children had a great day of sport. All of our children were respectful and impeccably behaved throughout the day and were a real credit to the school.
