On Tuesday 29th May, 9 boys and girls from Y6 played in a Primary Rounders event involving St Thomas of Canterbury, 4 teams from Pipworth and ourselves.
A round robin tournament consisting of rounders games of 20 good balls per team was played over the course of the day.
It was a fun event played in a friendly manner with lots of collaboration between the three schools.
It was pleasing to see some children taking part who would not normally be involved in sporting events outside school.
Grace, Matthew, Iona, Ellie, Jack R , Ben W, Louisa, Will Q ,Vinnie and Michael made up the team.
All the children played really well but I must single out Grace, Matthew and Michael for some amazing hits.
After the last game it was announced we had come runners up and will play in the city finals on June 12th.
