Your child has been given a list of calculations to practise at home. Please select a column for your child to work down. Ask your child to just say the answers as they go down the list. When they can say the answer to every calculation quickly without having to work out the calculations, please sign the sheet and return it to school and I will give your child another sheet. If your child can remember the order of the answers after a few attempts please ask them to work up from the bottom of the column.
Literacy
We have started a new topic about the Japanese tsunami. At the end of the week your child will write a report about what happened both during and after the wave hit Japan.
