Our Anne Frank Project

Our Anne Frank Project

In class we are doing about the persecution of the Jewish, in World War II.

Linked to this topic we are learning about the life of Anne Frank, and how she died in a concentration camp in March 1945. She received a diary on her 13th birthday, and she shared her experiences with the world, and has currently sold twenty- five million copies in fifty- four languages. After the Holy Bible it is the most read book in the world!

Her story still lives on, and tells us the true bravery  of those hiding in any war. We have been watching videos about the war to see what peoples emotions were when they found out that they had to go into hiding, one of them was about Anne Frank, you can find them on BBC i player by searching ‘The Story of Anne Frank’

Our class is thoroughly enjoying learning about the war, and it really makes us think about the fact that it actually happened to people. We are learning alot of interesting facts.

Today we are changing one of Anne’s recounts from first person into third person!
